Whatever decade you’re in — you’re on time

The science says the window never closes. It just changes what to train.

In your 30s

Funding the next fifty years

Muscle and bone built now become the reserve you spend through every decade after. You’re not behind — you’re early. Premenopausal women doing ~50 jumps a day grew hip bone density over 4% in six months.

In your 40s

Get ahead of the change

Perimenopause often starts quietly, years before any sign — and as estrogen declines, muscle needs a stronger signal, not a gentler one. If your usual routine “stopped working,” this is why. It’s trainable.

In your 50s

It’s not too late — it’s exactly on time

In a landmark study, frail adults averaging 90 years old increased their strength 174% in eight weeks. A body in its 50s has enormous capacity waiting — and this is precisely when using it protects your independence most.

60 and beyond

Training for freedom

Rising from the floor, carrying your own groceries, catching your balance — strength and power are what keep you in your own life. The gains come fast, and they’re practical from week one.

Why strength, why now

+174%

strength gain in 8 weeks — in 90-year-olds. Age is not the barrier.

+4%

hip bone density in 6 months from simple daily impact work.

~80%

of the sugar from a meal is cleared by your muscle. Strength is metabolic health.

Grip

strength predicts long-term health better than blood pressure.

Muscle steadies blood sugar, supports mood and sleep, and is the single best predictor of a strong, independent later life.

How training with Coco works

1

A free 30-minute chat

Goals, history, what’s worked and what hasn’t. No sales pressure — we both decide if it’s a fit.

2

A real baseline

We assess 7 fundamental movement patterns together (online works beautifully) so your program starts exactly where you are — never where a template guesses.

3

Your program, in your own app

Guided sessions with weights pre-filled and rest timers running themselves. Miss a day? It moves. Machine taken? Swap it. Life happens — the plan bends.

4

A coach who actually watches

Every week is reviewed by me, personally. Progress when your numbers earn it, recovery when your body asks, and a direct message line in between.

The promises

No guilt, ever

Missed sessions are information, not failure. The app has no streak-shaming by design — showing up again is the win.

No cookie-cutter plans

Your schedule, your equipment, your energy, your cycle or life stage. The program bends around your life — never the reverse.

A human, not a bot

Every week reviewed by your coach. Every message answered by a person who knows your history. AI helps me; it never replaces me.

Your coach

I’m Celia Chen — NSCA-certified personal trainer and data scientist, based in the Bay Area. I built Coco because the two things that actually change a woman’s trajectory — progressive strength training and someone who genuinely pays attention — almost never come in one package. Here they do: evidence-led programming, a coach who reads your every session, and software that makes consistency the easy option.

Honest answers

Will lifting make me bulky?

No. Women build strength readily but visible size very slowly — you’ll look leaner and more defined, not big. This is the most-asked and most thoroughly debunked fear in strength training.

I’m not in shape enough to start.

The assessment is gentle movement, nothing to exhaustion — it’s the “before” photo, not a test you can fail. Programs start exactly where you are, including absolute beginner.

Do I need a gym?

No. Programs are built around what you have — full gym, a pair of dumbbells, resistance bands, or just your bodyweight to start.

Does online coaching actually work for strength?

For most women, yes — and the data stays honest: every set you log feeds progress charts we both see, form gets checked live on video sessions, and we re-test your movement every couple of months. You’ll see the change in numbers, not vibes.

你说中文吗?
